What is Stopping You Realizing Your Dreams
There is a completely plausible reason why most people never achieve the wealth along with the life they want. It's as simple as not actually knowing what they even want!
While you may think you really want to be successful, wealthy and prosperous, what actually happens is that the majority of people spend most of their time thinking about what they don't want instead of what they do want.
Take a look at the collection of commonly subvocalised thoughts below:
- I don't want to be poor
- I'm tired of struggling
- I hate being in debt
- I don't want to be a failure
- I don't want to be paying rent forever
- I don't want my children to go without
Let's face it, most of us have mulled over these kind of thoughts and probably still do.
The problem with this is that focusing on and putting all that energy into what you don't want has the effect of preventing you from attracting the kind of wealth that you really want into your life.
So instead of getting that promotion or sealing that business opportunity, enjoying an unexpected windfall or simply getting your dream job, what you end up manifesting is just more bills, debt and hardship!
How Are the Wealthy Different?
The big difference between the wealthy minority and the struggling majority is that while most people focus on what they don't want, the wealthy focus on what they do want.
They literally dream (and daydream) of being wealthy, prosperous and successful like it's second nature. They work on a rich brain principle.
Instead of worrying about what they lack in their lives, they instead focus on the steps they will take each day that lead to the success they expect to have.
You can do that too!
I'll help you to develop your own millionaire mindset, by revealing the three simple steps you can take to program your mind to expect and receive wealth.
Step 1: Target
The first step is something you should do before anything else. That is to set a financial goal or target that you intend to achieve.
You can do that by setting out what it is that you really want. Here are some example questions that you can ask yourself, if you're not sure:
- How much money do I want in the bank?
- What kind of assets do I want to own?
- Am I happy working for others, or do I want to be my own boss?
- What kind of job and salary, or what kind of business and turnover do I want to have?
- What kind of lifestyle do I want to live?
Perhaps you want an income of over $100k per year. Maybe you want to own a mortgage-free house.
Perhaps you want to start a successful business. Maybe you just want to earn an extra hundred bucks or so per week so that your life can be that much better.
The thing is that any target you set yourself is great. What's important is that it's what you want for your future.
By the way, it's all about living your own life under your own terms, not anyone else's.
A big aspect to this technique is that you should never worry about how to achieve your goal. That's not your job right now. All you need to do is set a target that really excites you!
Step 2: Why
The next step is determining why you have set that target in step 1.
You need to have reasons to do whatever it is you're going to do and knowing what those reasons are will help you achieve it.
Here's how it works:
It's so important to your success that your reasons are positive as well as motivating. Wanting a thing with passion and determination is way more powerful than wanting a thing out of fear.
For example, if you set your target because you hate your job and want something better so you don't have to keep worrying about struggling to paying bills or pay off debt, you could be derailing yourself before you even begin.
That's because the motivating factor is fear.
A better example is setting your target to fulfil a dream to become financially free by your passion becoming your job so you can live an amazing dream lifestyle.
I think for many people, me included, the overriding motivating factor is financial freedom. When you don't need to be concerned about money, or have to work all hours to earn it, life takes on a whole new appearance.
Step 3: Alignment
The final step is in aligning your mindset with our target. You need your brain to work for you and the best way to get it working at its best is by being very clear and specific about deciding what you want.
A great way to align your mind with your goal is to visualize yourself having achieved the goal and actually experiencing how you feel in the moment.
Here are some visualization examples:
- Log into your bank account and see the million dollar balance staring back at yourself
- Opening the door and welcoming your friends to your awesome new home (fully paid for)
- Walking through the doors of your new dream business premises
- Collecting your dream car from the showroom
- Describing the amazing vacation you are taking your kids on
Don't just do this the once and sit back waiting for the miracle to happen. Practice makes perfect in all things and manifesting the life you want is no different!
Whatever you set as your goal or the dream of success is, the more often you practice visualizing having achieved it, the stronger you will attract it to you.
Mental Power
Not everybody knows about and appreciates the power of the subconscious mind, but when you get it working for you rather than against you, good things will happen.
You get your subconscious mind working for you by constantly reminding it about the things you truly want. That happens when you visualize regularly and often.
It's not magic, either. It's simply the law of attraction working on circumstances that are in alignment with how you are feeling. You influence how you feel by what you think about most!
Your subconscious mind does its work in reaction to how you feel by formulating the plans and strategies you'll need to follow to make your dreams become a reality. Your job is to act on those plans and strategies to the best of your ability.
And because it's what you truly want, whatever you do will be enjoyable and seem like fun rather than work!

By keeping up with the process of following these three steps, by being clear about what you really want and by using your imagination to create the mental scenarios of you having already achieved your goals, your wealth brain will most certainly be activated.
